What if an LMS were built like Netflix?

Netflix doesn't just list its titles. It recommends a new one each time, and lets you resume where you left off. What if an LMS were built the same way? Across five parts, we trace the five places OK Learn, OpenKnock's LMS, settled into.

Can organizational culture actually be measured?

OpenKnock Culture Ladder is a survey-based diagnostic for organizational safety culture. The benchmark isn't ours. We lifted NEN SCL, the Dutch national safety-culture certification standard, and use its five-step ladder as is, asking which of the five rungs a company stands on, round after round, against the same benchmark. Built by schemalism with RIMS and LRQA, and already pinned in place on the same benchmark by Hyundai Mobis, Kumho Petrochemical, and POSCO International, ~15,000 responses in. Six essays on what we saw between measurement and change.

Nonconformity management, finding is just the start

A safety inspection turns up dozens, sometimes hundreds of nonconformities. When all of them are managed from discovery to closure in a single system, recurring incidents drop, progress becomes visible at a glance, and audit records accumulate automatically. This two-part series covers how OpenKnock Action, OpenKnock's nonconformity management program, makes this happen. Part 1 looks at the company-wide effects and goals of nonconformity management. Part 2 explores the five changes OpenKnock Action delivers.

How far does a single line of observation travel?. Open Knock's safety module, end to end

Follow a single line of peer observation from end to end and you see Open Knock's entire safety module. Born on BBS theory, traveling through the observation process, then watching follow-up and risk assessment grow on the same Core, and finally settling into the statistics and analysis that show where that single line reached. Built by schemalism with RIMS and LRQA, tested across three sites in different industries. Six essays on how one line becomes one platform.
